Privacy Policy
Policy revised:
This policy describes the current application code and its limits. It does not certify deployed provider settings, historical collection, or legal compliance. These questionnaires are for voluntary adult self-reflection in English.
Answers and local drafts
Your answers are used in your browser to calculate your results. Unfinished answers, the current question, an attempt identifier, the questionnaire definition, and the last update time are saved in this browser's local storage by default. A pending result token is also stored during completion. This is not account storage or a remote draft-storage service.
Turn off "Save progress on this device" before answering if you do not want a local draft, especially on a shared device. Someone with access to that browser profile may be able to read saved answers. Browser storage is not confidential storage.
Drafts expire after seven days without an answer or progress update. Expired or incompatible drafts are discarded when you reopen that assessment; storage is not cleared while your browser is closed. A matching draft is removed when its completed result is displayed, when you discard it, or when you turn saving off. Storage failures or changes in another tab can prevent removal; the interface shows a warning. You can also clear this site's browser data to delete local drafts.
Result URLs and sharing
The result URL contains encoded scores keyed by trait, completion date, assessment ID, format and scoring versions, and an attempt identifier when present. It does not include individual answers, your name, or your email address. Encoding is not encryption. The information can still be personal, particularly if someone associates the link with you.
Result links are not access-controlled. Anyone with the link can view your results without signing in. Before sharing, consider whether you want the recipient to keep or forward the scores and date. Do not share under pressure or publish personal results in support issues. Screenshots can reveal the same information.
Signing in does not save results to your account or create a result history. Bookmark or copy your result URL if you want to revisit it. Deleting your own copy does not remove copies held by other people. There is no per-link revocation control. Clearing browser data does not recall shared links, screenshots, or provider logs.
Opening a result sends its URL to the site's server and hosting infrastructure so the result can be decoded and displayed. URLs may also remain in browser history, synced bookmarks, messaging services, link previews, and infrastructure logs. The application does not implement a remote result-history database.
Analytics, authentication, and hosting
The Google Analytics integration is paused globally in this revision: the application does not load the Google tag or emit its page-view and engagement events. The previous integration supplied paths and query strings, which could include result information. This change does not erase historical provider data or stop a script already loaded in an older open tab. Reload to use the revised application.
Clerk supplies the optional account sign-in interface at /account and authentication middleware on matching site requests. Clerk may process account details, session cookies, and request information for authentication; public questionnaires do not require sign-in. Signing in is not consent to publish results and does not make result links private. See Clerk's privacy policy.
Hosting infrastructure receives requests, including result paths, and may process IP addresses, browser information, and logs for delivery and security. The deployment provider, log settings, data locations, subprocessors, and retention periods have not been verified here. Neither external provider retention nor IP anonymization is guaranteed. For historical analytics practices, see Google's privacy policy.
Cookies and controls
Drafts and display preferences use browser-local storage. Account authentication can use cookies. Browser controls can block or clear cookies and site storage, but this may prevent sign-in or progress saving. These controls do not delete data already processed by external services. No application-wide consent or provider-deletion workflow is established by this policy.
Operator, requests, and unresolved facts
A verified legal owner, postal address, private privacy-contact channel, applicable jurisdiction, and provider retention schedule have not been published here. The access-restricted source repository is saguiitay/personality-tests; that identity alone does not establish the legal data controller. These facts require owner confirmation.
Depending on applicable law, you may have access, correction, deletion, objection, or other privacy rights. This site has not established a private request-handling process or verified provider deletion capabilities. Do not send sensitive information through a public issue to exercise a privacy right.
If you have repository access, open a support or corrections issue. Issues are shared with repository participants: do not post personal answers, result links, screenshots of results, or account information. You can ask for a private contact channel without including personal details. A private response channel and response time are not guaranteed. A support channel for visitors without repository access still needs to be established.
Material changes to this policy will receive an explicit revision date. See also our methodology and limitations and Terms of Service.
